This is a fan-based, not- for-profit event. Ticket costs cover the event facility, food, entertainment, guest stars, and necessary items for an enjoyable experience. All costs will be transparently displayed and open for review. If possible, we would make it free!

”The autograph on the “Captain James T. Kirk” artwork was made on May 1 st , 2005, when William Shatner was a featured guest, and sat for autographs at the Starfest convention in Denver, which I attended for that very purpose!”

Todd Treadway’s work is well known for its lifelike character depictions. Todd has illustrated many different original pieces from which plates were made. His original painting shown here was done in airbrush acrylics, and colored pencils. The finely finished work has been in Mr. Treadway’s possession from its creation (with the exception of when the work was sent to Enesco for plate aking), Now at this time, when it has been handed directly to Subspace for auction.

My typical procedure was to make crisp line drawings from photo reference, then make copies of the drawings at various sizes and cut & paste them up into a composition, then make a clean copy to use in the fax machine. This method allowed for easy changes until a final composition was reached, and was used for all my Star Trek illustrations” (Todd Treadway 5-2024)
